Carrick Rangers Girls recently played host to the opening game in the new N.Ireland girls football league sponsored by
PDQ Solutions. The event was officially opened by IFA chief Executive Howard Wells.
this is the first league for junior girls at 11 a side and The Carrick girls were in fine form and defeated Donegal
Celtic 6 - 0.

Carrick Rangers Post Office ladies were formed in 2003 with a merger from Carrick Rangers and Post Office Ladies. Post
Office Ladies were one of the founding teams in the NIWFA in 1977 and are the most successful team in its history boasting
a record of seven league titles in a row. The team have developed over the past few years and are currently working hard to
challenge in the national league with a young energetic team
